It must not have been Real ID compliant…..

  2. cheywolf on December 6, 2016 at 9:07 am

Ok she shows a cop a fake ID, bahaha. You might get away with that at a bar but passing off to a cop. Brilliant idea…

    • Notaliberal on December 6, 2016 at 9:43 pm

You’re an idiot read the article dork.

  3. Anonymous on December 6, 2016 at 1:55 pm

I can’t believe this stuff makes the news here.

    • Anonymous on December 6, 2016 at 2:53 pm

Would you rather it be filled with stories of shootings and homicides like Baltimore or Chicago? If you do something as stupid as to hand a cop a fake ID you deserve to be put on blast. I have never seen anyone on here for following the laws and not breaking the rules.

      • Notaliberal on December 6, 2016 at 9:45 pm

Try reading moron where does it say she handed it to the officer?

        • Anonymous on December 7, 2016 at 8:00 am

Think, how else would he have gotten it? It doesn’t say they found it due to a search so it either fell out of her pocket in front of the officer or she handed it to him. If he just found it in the car or on the ground she could have said “that isn’t me” and there would be no charges. She was the passenger, she did not legally have to have a license.

          • Anonymous on December 7, 2016 at 9:49 am

            Think
She likely had it in her wallet and the officer saw it when she was attempting to retrieve her actual ID.

            Think
This happened on Wednesday (hump day) at 1:28am. She had probably used the fake ID earlier to go drinking and still had it in front of her real ID, not expecting to have to show it to ‘John Law’ that same night.

          • Anonymous on December 7, 2016 at 1:35 pm

Why would he ask for it?

          • Anonymous on December 8, 2016 at 9:42 am

…to identify others in the vehicle…because she seemed ‘out of sorts’, but didn’t look old enough to drink…she couldn’t answer his questioning…Any number of reasons.

To all the people out there who think this is a waste of time or the cops have better things to do; why are you willing to give people a pass on a crime? Read this site and the comments and look at how many people think certain laws are a waste. I bet if that girl had your ID and was posing as you (lord knows what she was doing with that ID) you’d feel different. If you do not think certain laws should not be enforced, then petition Annapolis and have them removed from the books. The fact is we elect our sheriff to enforce laws; all laws, not just some of them. When we start giving people passes for petty crimes, where does it end? A guy killed a baby and will probably be out in 15 years. The degradation of society is obvious. We cannot turn a blind eye to crime. Carry on.

Reply: When you’ve been persecuted for a stop sign violation, maybe, just maybe, you’ll understand the frivolity of wasting precious police resources.

      Reply: Already Answered above

“If you do not think certain laws should not be enforced, then petition Annapolis and have them removed from the books.”

It’s a common choice by Officers, always has been, always will be. You can dictate to them, that they don’t have an “Unlimited Budget,” unless you give up, all the money you make, to tax paying.
For going to Annapolis, I, too have a limited budget, time and resources as well. I, also, understand the frivolity of petitioning the politicians(, waste + waste = 2x Waste, just what I’m railing against, I, in-turn do, NO)!

“The fact is we elect our sheriff to enforce laws; all laws, not just some of them.”

Reply: Wait, until they come to your neighborhood; and get you for not stopping before pulling out of your driveway; or for not Signaling before turning into your own driveway, or get you for going 1mph over the speed limit; or Charge and search you & your car because you didn’t STOP for a pedestrian in a cross-walk, that wasn’t quite ready to use when you safely passed by them. Officers once again don’t have time to deal with every niggling violation they see, especially when there are grandeur issues!!

“A guy killed a baby and will probably be out in 15 years.”

Reply: Name one person that said he should get a pass

“The degradation of society is obvious.”

Reply: John Adams said the same thing almost 250years ago

“We cannot turn a blind eye to crime.”

Reply: Severe and malicious criminal activity should be dealt with harshly, but until you’ve spent a day or night in jail, you won’t have a clue what a fair sentence is, disenfranchise criminals from criminal activity, first place that starts is: in Jail & in Prison, 3 Hots and a Cot but that’s all, except maybe some books.

      “Carry On”

Reply: Don’t Forget: KEEP CALM (first)

Solution: Don’t break the law if you can’t afford the consequences.

When I was young I couldn’t afford to get a ticket, I would have been in jail for nonpayment if I got caught doing something wrong. My solution was to follow all the laws and I didn’t have a problem. Your solution seems to be blame the cops, blame the government, blame the laws and take no responsibility for your own actions. If you are poor and can’t afford a ticket or can’t afford to go to jail you can do one of three things; take responsibility and accept your punishment like a man, whine and cry that it isn’t fair and the whole world is against you, or don’t break the law to begin with and you won’t have to worry about it.

      • Anonymous on December 8, 2016 at 11:59 am

Persecuted for a stop sign? The law is very clear. The definition of stop is the total cessation of movement. The simple solution is to stop. I bet if your kids were at that stop sign you’d want a violator ticketed.

If you are not ready to do something about the laws on the books, please refrain from complaining about said laws.

I welcome the sheriff to come to my neighborhood and enforce traffic laws. I live where there are no sidewalks and a 25mph speed limit. You are not required to submit to a search (read the 4th Amendment).

Never said anyone said he should get a pass. That is reality my friend.

“Severe and malicious criminal activity should be dealt with harshly, but until you’ve spent a day or night in jail, you won’t have a clue what a fair sentence is, disenfranchise criminals from criminal activity, first place that starts is: in Jail & in Prison, 3 Hots and a Cot but that’s all, except maybe some books.”

So we should turn an eye to minor crimes? Got it. Unless of course you are the victim, then it’s different, right?

        I am calm. Carry on.

No I’ve taught my children, not to even ‘entertain the notion’ of crossing a street, until there aren’t any idiots coming or going in cars.

If your not the Sheriff, legislator or Governor stop talking like you are here to enforce the laws, you sound like a “Hall Pass Monitor”!

Good they can come to your neighborhood and get your wife for touching the white line, or you “Speeding” to Church on Sunday morning, and ask you to stand outside in the grass and mud (in your Sunday Best), while they search your car, because it “matched a description.”

I never said “they should turn a blind eye,” but what do you call it, when they pull a car over and give the driver a Warning, that Warning or Quick ticket is a blind-eye (Pass) given (PERIOD). (BTW You don’t have to break a law to be pulled over, an Officer can feign any number of things, once you’re pulled over, it’s your job to comply with all of their demands, you’re guilty until proven innocent, and can be taken into custody for questioning the Officer and maligned with a Disorderly charge. Until that happens to you, you’re just a clueless “boy scout” square.) There’s, a whole lot, more, gray in the world, than you were raised to believe. (You can play the Jack Ryan line over and over again “No, No, No! Not Black and WhiTe, Ritter, .. RIGHT And . WRONGGG!”)

Track Deluxe Iphone Sms 3 Spy V1 If they had time to take her to jail, they (the 2-4 Officers out with them) had multiple resources tied up in something better left-in-the-hands of the court (Cite her and Move ON). It probably would have freed-up 6-10 more Patrol hours, to pullover, 2 or 3 drunk drivers that passed behind their very arses. As the Officers wasted a commodity, on a “Sure-thing.” Just, so, they didn’t have to do real police work, they picked the safer solution for themselves, not the community, it was exemplified in this case. I conserve labor dollars, for the important things; not twiddling my thumbs on the side of road or at the Detention Center, filling out paper work on a 19yr old.

Once your willing to put all your hard earned money into a Policing and enforcing “ALLLL” laws, until then, you can best believe, I will continue to rant about Tax-Payer wasted resources. The Trooper shouldn’t be playing the ‘I got 1-2hours left on my shift,’ That IS THEFT (FRAUD & EMBEZZLEMENT) (should we have to talk about, Ethics 101, with a person whom: Up-holds the Law).

Next time, you refer to the, Sheriff give him the respect he’s due, by capitalizing his title.

Spy Deluxe V1 3 Sms Iphone Track The rant started with the guy typing at 8:05am Dec 7. As a good zealous, Conservative christian, he had to make sure his beliefs were quickly jotted-down. Then, he pressed Enter, before anyone posted about such wasted resources. Since, he pressed Enter, bring-it-up, I replied. Especially after: his inclusion & inference about/towards the Baby Killer and 15years. He was simpling trying to entice FUD be spun around others (that don’t, and won’t, have his exact beliefs). BTW a guy that Killed a Baby should probably be Killed, himself, PERIOD end of story. Aren’t all you Christians all about saving, ALL Life, because they are all precious, talk about a hypocrite (can’t abort in the beginning, but can abort to make an ending)

And Christie I’m glad your husbands a Peace Officer, okay that’s why you’re so protective, saying something, but it’s truly not worth much, hypercritical would be the better term but you wouldn’t understand that, since your man has a vest, a gun and a shield (let him protect you)!!!
